A day that will never be forgotten

We witness a miracle every time a child enters into life.
But those who make their journey home across time & miles,
growing within the hearts of those who wait to love them,
are carried on the wings of destiny and placed among us
by God’s very own hands.

I can hardly wait to share these pictures–cause they are laden with golden moments.

talk about living out a real live dream come true–

you can’t recreate this kind of feeling…. you cannot prepare for a day like this, and the precious images from this day will forever live in the hearts and minds of all who love my brother Mark and his beautiful wife Kate.

After 4 1/2 years of miscarriages and one unsuccessful adoption, we all waited with hearts full of hope and prayer…knowing that someday they would be parents–it was only a matter of time.

their day finally arrived….

and we were all waiting with fluttering butterflies to get a first glimpse of that precious babe’s head.

the anticipation was almost too much to bear when they pulled up in the driveway–it felt like Christmas morning x 10

and in walks through the door and into our lives forever– a miracle from God:  Lydia Ashley
(check out my nephew’s fist pump in the air right before the happy mommy walks in the door)

Grandma holding up the little cub for every eye to see

hugs and tears of joy were abundant

everyone who could, got their paws on her–and it was love at first sight.

the two sisters and their new babies:

1st feeding:

we love her.  and little anna is thrilled to pieces to finally have a girl cuz.

this mom and babe make my heart smile wide.

Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart–Psalm 37:4

All praise and thanks to the Giver of Life–who heals the brokenhearted and causes our cup overflow.
